We’re a stealth mode startup company based in Washington, DC and we’re looking for a Sr. Web Designer to work closely with our CTO and CEO to develop usable and intuitive designs for our web based product. Your role will be to conceptualize and implement designs for web app user interfaces, to take the lead with regard to information architecture and user experience, and more.
Responsibilities
* Conceptualize new user interface designs with wireframes and mockups
* Collaborate with our team to develop rich user experiences
* Create and maintain an easy-to-use information architecture
* Coordinate front-end development and implementation with developers
* Ensure brand and style consistency across product
* Stay ahead of the latest design trends and industry news
Requirements
* At least 4 years of experience with web design, user interface design, usability and/or information architecture
* Proficient with CSS, XHTML, Photoshop & Illustrator
* Excellent communication skills, interested and accustomed to working with others
* Must be in or willing to relocate to Washington, DC or the surrounding area (virtual only is not ok)
Preferred
* Experience designing business application interfaces
