
SUMMARY
We have an exciting opportunity for an entry-level to experienced, business-to-business sales person in the DC market to sell recruiting services to various industry leading startup and technology companies within an established geographic territory. In this role, you will develop strong relationships with top-level company leaders while establishing and cultivate existing business accounts. Sales are generated through a consultative selling process with the goal of creating repeat business and fan-clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will use your expert knowledge of the technology and interactive community in the DC metro area to promote staffmagnet’s recruiting services to company leaders and to secure human resources consulting, solutions consulting, and recruiting partnerships. You will work with the Managing Director and Director of Business Development to execute and exceed the established sales plan. You will be support growth of the sales territory while maintaining the integrity of staffmagnet’s brand. You will develop and manage strong relationships with accounts while finding and developing new business opportunities. You will be responsible for entering all client territory information and other pertinent data into a sales system, as well as for preparing and submitting all required reports within established deadlines. Additional duties may include attending or participating in technology and interactive community events. This is a home-based position, and you will be provided with a laptop and other required equipment. We offer exceptional training and growth opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS
• A minimum of 1+ years of outside, business-to-business sales experience. Experience selling interactive, software, payroll, or benefits services preferred.
• Consistent attainment of past sales goals.
• Strong prospecting (cold calling) and lead generation skills.
• Strong ability to develop relationships at all levels within an organization.
• Excellent writing and electronic communications skills in addition to verbal communications skills.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and past experience working with a CRM software program...).
• Reside within the specified geographic territory and have the ability to work from a home office that meets Company standards.
• Ability to attend and participate in local technology and interactive events periodically (may include some nights and weekends).
• A college degree or equivalent work experience is required.
